Periodontal surgery

Most people suffer from some form of gum disease. It is the major cause of tooth loss in adults. The disease develops very slowly in most people starting from the gums then spreading to the underlying bone around the tooth. It is caused by accumulation of plaque and tartar which are caused by poor oral hygiene habits.

Treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis (gum and bone disease) can be:

• Non-surgical : Cleaning
• Surgical: Flap surgery
