Gum Grafting

- Flap surgery is done under local anaesthesia. The gums around the tooth are separated and the area cleaned to remove plaque and tartar. A bone graft is placed if needed and gum flaps are sutured back into place.
- Gum graft surgery is done to repair gum recession and to prevent additional recession and bone loss. This can be done for one tooth or several teeth to even your gum line and reduce sensitivity.
